In this article, I’m going to show you how to create a point/percent quiz with EmbedQuiz.
Point/percent quizzes are a great way to give feedback about your user’s knowledge of a given topic. A math test is a good example of a point/percent quiz. People receive a grade, points, or a percentage, that indicates how well they answered the questions.
You can read more about the different types of quizzes available on EmbedQuiz here.
Let’s get started!
Create a point/percent quiz
On your homepage click on the “Add new” button and after that select the “Point/percent” option.
Then enter the name of your quiz and click on the “Save” button or press enter.
Add questions to your quiz
Now, we add questions to our quizzes by clicking on the “Add new” button in the question list.
For each question, you can set a name, a rich text description, and an image or a video.
When uploading a file, please note that the maximum upload limit is currently 2 MB.
To make your quiz load faster, I recommend compressing the files and using the .webp file extension for images. The maximum width of the quiz widget is 620 pixels, so there is no point in uploading files with a larger resolution.
Changing the order of questions
If you want to change the order of your previously uploaded questions, you can do it by holding a question with your mouse and dragging it over another item in the list.
Adding answers to questions
You can add answers to questions by clicking on the “Add answer” button below the file upload field.
To select the correct answer from the list, click on the checkbox before the name field of your answer.
You can add a description, image, or video to every answer by clicking on the downward arrow right to the name field.
If you are ready, try out your quiz by clicking on the “Preview” button.
Congratulations, you created your first quiz with EmbedQuiz!
